David Letterman the late night TV host has apologized to his wife on his late show admitting she has been horribly hurt.

He also admitted he has his work cut out trying save his marriage saying

“Let me tell you folks, I got my work cut out for me,”

Letterman was not done there apologizing, he also apologized to his staff

“Inadvertently, I just wasn’t thinking ahead,” Letterman said. “My thanks to the staff for, once again, putting up with something stupid I’ve gotten myself involved in.”

Seems poor old Letterman really has made a mess of things but at least he did the right thing and not give in to alleged blackmail

Robert Halderman, a producer for the true-crime show “48 Hours Mystery,” pleaded not guilty last week to extortion charges.
