Actor Peter Facinelli who plays the role of head of the Cullen family Carlisle will be captain for the Twilight team who will include co-stars and crew.

The Twilight team will be battleing American footballers on the Saints roster in the 20th March baseball battle.

The Twilight team is said to consist of Peter Facinelli, Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz and Tyson Houseman.

The event will take part in New Orleans, Louisiana.

All the money raised by the event will go to the American Red Cross and Hope for Haiti Now .

As an added bonus the Blood Center will be hosting a blood drive during the event.

Facinelli admits he has become a big baseball fan after learning how to play the game for the first Twilight film.
