Taylor Swift adds new tour dates

taylor_swift2You may have thought that singer Taylor Swift was coming to the end of her Fearless tour, but word is out that she will be back touring again in February 2010.

She will start out in Australia stopping in Canada before going back to the US.
Swift’s spokesperson has spoken to MTV news to confirm this.

Swift herself had this to say

“I’m so excited to take the Fearless tour back out on the road again in 2010!” says Taylor. “This year’s tour has been so much fun and even more unforgettable than I ever imagined. The fans have been so amazing, and I’m thrilled to play in new cities and see even more of my fans on the 2010 Fearless tour!”

Swift will be playing in 29 more cities in the US after beginning the tour playing five shows in Australia.

The tour is said to begin on February 4 in Brisbane.

Swift will be back in the US on March 4 where she will do her first concert in Tampa Florida.

Tickets for her shows on the first stage of the tour sold out in minutes and of course Swift hopes that the same will happen this time.

according to the Associated Press Swift has said that her fans response to the tour has been like “winning the lottery of dreams coming true”

“I always expected to have to do a lot of stressing out about selling tickets. And then I went on my first headlining tour, and everything just sold out,” she said. “I’ve never expected that kind of success. I’ve never just felt entitled to my shows selling out or things like this happening to me, but the fact that they’ve happened to me has been wonderful.”

Swift has said that she will feel sad when the first stage of the tour ends.

“It’s going to be so sad knowing that we’re not going to see each other for a while, everybody on the tour from the lighting to the crew, the dancers and the band, and everybody that have just become even more of my family in the last couple of months.”
