The filmmaker, who was nominated for the Best Director Oscar for Inglourious Basterds, is best known for helming action-packed and violent films including Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs – but he insists he’d love to try his hand at romance.

He tells Film.com, “I’d love to make a romantic comedy and take it out of the ghetto it’s been exiled to.
