The Twilight hunk — rumored to be the highest-paid teen star in Hollywood — had signed up for both action roles but has now opted out of Max Steel, about a sports star-turned-secret agent, to focus on Stretch, new blockbuster based on the bendable action figure produced by toymakers Hasbro in the 1970s.

According to New York Magazine, Lautner ditched the part because toy manufacturer Mattel — which produces Max Steel figures — has not been as successful at the box offices as Hasbro — who, in addition to Steel, also spearheaded the Transformers and G.I. Joe film franchises.

Pattionson is said to be the exclusive presenter in London with performances that will include Jay-Z, Bono, Taylor Swift, Alica Keys, Christina Aguilera and many more.

The performances will be part of a two hour long benefit which will be aired on major television networks.

Other celebrities will include Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, Anna Kendrick, Sandra Bullock and loads more.

The organizers are still trying to get Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Oprah Winfrey and Angelina Jolie.

Personally we would love to see any show that has Pitt, Aniston and Jolie having to all work together maybe Winfrey will have to work as her agony aunt mode, but it may help ratings and raise funds.

George Clooney is set to host from Los Angeles, with Wyclef Jean in New York City and CNN newsman Anderson Cooper in Haiti itself.

The telethon is due to be on 22nd January and will raise funds to help the victims and survivors of the Earthquake which has left thousands dead.

Pattinson is said to be at the top of the wanted list as it is felt that if fans know that it is possible that Pattinson will pick up the phone to take your pledge if you are the lucky one.

A source for the event have revealed that the organizers are aiming high and want to have Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner to taking part.

A source close to Stewart has said “She’d jump at the chance to do something to help.”

The telethon was reported to be aired on MTV but we have since found out that ABC, NBC, HBO and CNN have agreed to air it, too.

We hope that they make loads of money everyone dig in your pockets.

Also that it was the impression that Lautner had stronger feelings for Swift than she had for him.

But now Star are reporting the possibility of a different reason which is that someone else was involved.

The third person they mention is Selena Gomez.

Gomez and Lautner were a rumoured item for awhile, as the former has said meeting the latter was “the best thing ever.”

An source has now said that the spark between these two never died down and they’ve rekindled at least some sort of relationship. Are there any facts to back up this claim? Of course not. But does that mean it’s not worth talking about the possibility? Of course not!

He is also nominated along with the New Moon team including Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner for Favourite On-Screen Team category.

Twilight is also a nominee under the “Favourite Movie” category

The Twilight Saga gets a nomination for Favourite Franchisee as well.

Pattinson has said that he can not attend due to other work commitments which will make him miss the first big event in Hollywood this year.

The show will be aired on CBS on 6th January and is to be hosted by Queen Latifah.

The pair had a brief relationship in 2009 which has since ended in what seems to be a very amicable way.

But with celebrities there is always the chance of an awkward moment or two.

Taylor Swift is nominated for the Pop Artist, Country Artist, and Female Artist awards.

Taylor Lautner will be competing in the Favourite Breakout Movie Actor, Favourite Movie, and On-Screen Team categories.

Reports from Star Magazine have said that Lautner is attempting to get Swift cast in his upcoming movie called Cancun.

The report said “She tours a lot for her music, but he’s hoping she’ll do more movies so they can stay closer. He’s very serious about her and wants it to work out.”

The filming for the film will be done in Mexico and who knows maybe they can rekindle things again, they did get to know each other whilst filming the movie ‘Valentine’s Day’

After a reported three month relationship it seems the curse of the celeb couples have hit them, no time together amongst other reasons.

A source has told Us Magazine

“He liked her more than she liked him,”

“He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn’t travel much to see him.”

A source close to Swift said

“It wasn’t really developing into anything, and wasn’t going to, so they decided they were better as friends,”

“There was no chemistry, and it felt contrived… They plan to stay friends.”

It was none other then Taylor Lautner, hunk of the Twilight saga films.

The concert was held in downtown Los Angeles.

But it seems that no one back stage was aware that he was there.

But he was spotted by an E!Online reporter. This is reportedly what happened during the evening.

Lautner arrived via a private entrance at the Nokia Theatre L.A at around 8:45 pm.

He reportedly arrived alone and went straight for Taylor Swift’s dressing room.

When he got there the two reportedly acted like a couple. Lautner spent most of his time with Swift , but he was also seen talking to Swift’s mum and other people around her.

The source has said “Taylor’s mom was constantly smiling around him,”

Lautner watched Swift’s performance from the side of the stage as he didn’t seem to want his presence there known.

Lautner is due to host Saturday Night Live next weekend and as of yet there is no word as to whether Swift plans to be there or not.

It is the longest of all the books and was proving to be a difficult one to decide whether to make it or not.

But with the success of the first movie and the hype around the recently released second film New Moon which is currently doing very well in the cinemas the talk now is that they will go ahead and make the film, but will split it Harry Potter style into two films.

So it comes as no surprise that the main leads , those of Robert Pattinson who plays Edward Cullen, Kristen Stewart who plays Bella Swan and Taylor Lautner who plays Jacob Black have all reportedly said that they are very much on board to do the films.

“They are so on board, still,”
“But the money has to be right. If it is, it’ll happen—especially now that Rob and Kristen are learning better how to handle the press.”

In September Summit asked Melissa Rosenberg to write the script for Breaking Dawn, which of course she agreed to.

“Nothing official yet, but knowing Summit the announcement will be soon with the giant success of New Moon. Why would they not stretch it out and make as much money as possible from this franchise?”

Talking to German website Stern Swift who is rumoured to be dating Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner has said that she is not worried about spending all her free time partying once she moves out of her parents saying

“I am not the party type. I never drank alcohol in my life. It is not my thing. I like to keep a cool head and control.”

His classmates used to pick on him because they were jealous of his Hollywood career.

Lautner said

‘I was never extremely confident, because I was an actor, when I was in school there was a little bullying going on.”

‘Not physical bullying but people making fun of what I do.’

Lautner said that he never let the bullying stop him doing what he loved.

Talking to rolling stone Lautner said

‘I just had to tell myself I can’t let this get to me, this is what I love to do. And I’m going to continue to do it.’

Lautner says that Foxx hunted him down for an autograph and photo during the Twilight premiere in 2008.

During an appearance on TBS’ Lopez Tonight Lautner said

“There’s tons of fans and we hear all of these high pitch voices and we hear ‘Rah, rah, Taylor, Taylor!’”

“All of a sudden I hear this deep voice behind me: ‘Taylor, Taylor!’… And this guy walks up to me and he goes ‘Hey…my daughter is a huge fan, and I’m a huge fan is there any way I can get a picture with you. I’m Jamie Foxx.’”

Although Lautner is used to getting attention from fans Lautner admits to being taken back when Foxx approached him.

“I was like, ‘Are you kidding me? Can I get a picture with you?’”

Lautner’s character Jacob Black is caught up in the triangle with Edward Cullen played by Robert Pattinson and Bella Swan played by Kristen Stewart.

Lautner thinks that he knows why his character in the film keeps getting between Edward and Bella.

Lautner told Rolling Stone

‘The thing is, Jacob and Edward are two completely different guys,’ he explains. ‘They are opposites. And it’s just what kind of girl you are.

‘If you like that more mysterious, dangerous type, then that’s one guy. I personally love Jacob and Bella’s relationship, and how they began as friends.

‘They are so much more open, and can tell each other anything. And Bella and Edward’s relationship, it’s always tense. It’s always serious… She gets confused.’

Jacob Black is a bit of a scary character.

‘He can’t really control himself,’ Taylor, 17, tells Rolling Stone. ‘When he gets mad, he gets mad. And all Jacob has on his mind is on Bella.

‘That’s who he cares for. That’s who he loves. If somebody gets in his way, it’s not good. And he will explode.’

Greene says

“Edward played by Robert Pattinson kind of breaks Bella’s heart, so you definitely see Jacob played by Taylor Lautner kind of swoop in to rescue her. You get to see their chemistry and dynamic. It kind of keeps you on the edge of your seat a little bit more than the first one.”

“The first one is very much a love story, and this one is kind of more about heartbreak and healing, and you got the wolves come in and there’s that threat, that danger. I actually saw the movie about two months ago, and it’s really good.”

I for one can’t wait to see it.

Stewart is impressed by the way her co star has improved as an actor and bulked up for the soon to be released second instalment of the Twilight saga.

Stewart has said

“The cool thing is that it’s not just physical. You can read it all over him, just in his entire attitude. The difference between the kid that did ‘Twilight’ and this guy now is pretty astounding.”

When Taylor spoke about bulking up for the role he said

“When I was filming ‘Twilight’, I knew that Jacob’s character changed a lot so if I wanted to continue portraying him correctly, I had a lot of work ahead. So I started hitting the gym. I got a personal trainer. I started eating a lot of food and cut the sugars. It was a lot of work, but it was definitely worth it.”

Prout’s spokesperson has spoken to E! News confirming this.

Prout is probably best known for her roles as Jennifer Garner’s protégé in Elektra and Amanda on ABC Family’s Kyle XY.

She will join the cast of Eclipse which we know include the likes of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner on the locked down set in Vancouver.

Prout’s character plays an important part in Jasper’s background.

But in case you haven’t read the book I won’t say anymore.

Lautner explained “It’s a job. I definitely can’t feel it, I feel like the same person. I don’t walk outside my house and have 65,000 screaming fans waiting but it’s really insane because it is almost like living two lives.”

Lautner also spoke about eating every two hours to gain the necessary weight to enable him to continue to play the role in the new films.

“The hardest part was actually eating a lot of good foods and cutting out all of the fat foods. It was about always putting something in your mouth. Every two hours, I always had to have something. So, that was the most difficult part for me, for sure. I knew what I had to do and that’s what I did. I stayed focused, and it all worked out well.”

We think that Lautner should wait until the films been released and then try to walk outside his house!

“I’m not the lead in the second film. Taylor Lautner is I appear in Bella’s dreams. So I’m in it but the focus is not on me. I just have significant moments at the beginning … and the end. So I’m more of a supporting role in this one, which is why I felt so free. I didn’t have to deal with any of the bullshit of the first one. I don’t have to hold the movie or worry about the fans. I think I did it better without all those pressures.”

“When the second one comes out, then I’ll see how I am. Mostly I can ignore things to quite a big extent and kind of pretend they’re not really happening,” he says, sounding eerily calm.

“I just don’t take any of it seriously. It’s just a job and while it’s a job I love, girls scream out for Edward, not Robert. I still can’t get a date.”

“To be honest, I still don’t really understand what’s going on, Like yesterday, I was having lunch down the road. We were in this place for a couple of hours and suddenly there was like 400 people outside on the street. It was just so nuts and it’s like that all the time now.”

Pattinson started his career by playing small parts. He was Cedric Diggory in two of the Harry Potter films The Goblet of Fire and The Order of the Phoenix

Lautner admits

“It’s embarrassing for me. And I’m sure it’s awkward for all of them. I’m hoping that I don’t get teased by my family because I’ll start blushing.”

I had this 40-year-old woman trying to find a way to take her panties off for me to sign them. They had my name imprinted on them. So that was kind of strange.”

Lautner has also had to change his diet to maintain his body for the films by cutting out sugary foods.

Lautner has been quoted as saying

“I really miss ice cream. My favourite flavour is actually cake batter. It’s really good but I can’t have it. It’s torture.”

Lautner is said to be glad of the change from his role of Jacob Black .

Talking to the press Lautner said

“I was so glad I got to do Valentine’s Day before I went back and filmed [third Twilight movie] Eclipse. Working with [director] Garry Marshall — that’s a once-in-a-lifetime thing. It was a lot of fun, and I can’t wait to see it when it comes out in February.”

Also recently Lautner took time out of his schedule on Thursday to do a photo shoot were Lautner was on a Beach in LA riding a motorbike, a sight which is sure to please most fans.

Lautner also did back flips and handstands for the upcoming issue of Rolling Stones magazine.
