Broderick admits that he has turned down every chance to star in the show.

Talking to Us Weekly magazine Broderick says “We did a play together, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, but it’s not really something we look for.

“I had a couple of chances when the TV show (Sex and the City) was on. But I was never free for the right character.”

Parker admits that she has been a fan of grants films for years.

Parker said

“With this movie, I was basically shoved up inside his jacket pocket. I just loved it. I love him. He is very, very good at what he does.”

“I paid to see him in ‘Four Weddings And A Funeral’ again and again! I wanted to be in a romantic comedy opposite him for years.”

Parker admits to jumping at the chance to work alongside Grant when the role come along for the new movie.

Parker confesses

“I think I remember auditioning to co-star with Hugh in ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’. I think I did. I know I screen tested for ‘Nine Months’. Of course, I didn’t get either. I have wanted to appear opposite him in a romantic comedy for basically as long as Americans, especially women, have known and loved Hugh Grant.”

“Every time I kissed Hugh, I told him I was doing it for America.”
