The movie got a rather cool response from critics.

Talking to Parade Pattinson said that some reviewers reacted more to the hype that was around the movie than to the movie itself.

Pattinson said “I didn’t like the way New Moon was treated by the critics. I think it was reviewed in the context of just being a big franchise movie.”

“When something is so hyped, inevitably, there is a backlash against it. I think Chris Weitz is an amazing director. I really enjoyed the film. So the naysayers kind of annoyed me.”

What did you thinkof the New Moon film did you like it or was the hype bigger than the film itself and will you buy it when it comes out?

Stewart was dressed in a green jacket with her hair loosely pulled back during the interview and Stewart was eager to talk about her other roles apart from Bella Swan to make it clear to her fans that she is more than just Bella from Twilight.

When asked how she prepared for the slightly more risqué role Stewart said

“Umm, Jake Scott, the director had a lot to do with my preparation and understanding of the type of person I was playing, and his serious regard of sensitivity towards those people. I play a girl who has sort of been stripped of any choice and really stripped of any normal upbringing. Like she couldn’t establish who she was because of things that have happened to her and she became a ‘working girl,’ if you want to call it that.”

“So in preparing for the role I talked to a lot of people, actually like three people in New Orleans, that were strippers that were working in this bar that we ended up using in the movie…I don’t really prepare for anything, it’s just about like, keeping it in your mind the whole time. If it affects you…it’s just about understanding it more, it’s not about having to like physically—oh, but I did have to do pole dancing lessons! But you don’t really see that in the movies.”

when asked if she had sexy skills now Stewart said

“Yeah yeah.”

When asked if she got nervous before the more provocative scenes Stewart answered

“I was freaking out! The thing is my character is so, like, she just doesn’t care. Basically nothing belongs to her. She’ll give it to you like it doesn’t bother [her]. So I had to drop that. She literally walks around with an open sore. Literally! She’s just constantly like, ‘Ugh, I’m fine, whatever.’”

When asked if she was able to enjoy any free time after New Moon Stewart replied

“Yeah, I’m actually bored for the first time in, like, ever. So, yeah, I really want to get back to work.”

So far we have asked who else could have played both Bella and Edward so Jacob was next.

We are not saying that Taylor Lautner wasn’t good in the part far from in but it is nice to see what you think , who else you could imagine being good playing the role.

Summit Entertainment have announced that the DVD will be on sale on March 20th.

The DVD will feature bonus material, including commentary with director Chris Weitz and editor Peter Lambert, a six-part behind-the-scenes documentary, and band rehearsal footage and music videos Muse, Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, and Mute Math, the production company said in a statement.

Stewart has said that she feels very protective of Bella as thier lives have developed in a similar way.

Stewart explains

“I feel like Bella has become something that is me, in a weird way. I feel very protective of her.”

“Bella and I have been on a similar ride, in that during the second film she matures a bit. She’s making these drastic life decisions and she knows what she wants.”

“She’s got to know herself much better. I think I’ve done the same thing through this project. It’s been a wild ride and there’s been a lot of self-evaluation. I’ve grown a lot, and so has Bella.”

Stewart also admitted being heartbrken when the photos of New Moon being filmed were leaked.

Speaking to the Top of the Pops magazine Stewart said

“I was heartbroken when pictures were all over the internet. I didn’t want anybody to see certain looks, like Taylor in his wig, because we wanted to surprise people when the movie came out.”

During an interview with GMTV Pattinson revealed quite a few things including that he didn’t agree with the relationship.

Robert Pattinson claimed to really enjoy filming New Moon because everyone was so relaxed and the director Chris Weltz was so calm it was great.

He talked about how amazing it is that they’ve already filmed two sequels within a year of the first “Twilight” movie coming out.

He confessed that he doesn’t really agree with Bella and Edward’s relationship because it’s the type that sort of alienates everyone else around them . They’re so caught up in themselves, that the friendships around them are no longer important.

He said he did quite a bit of his own stunts in “New Moon,” but not as many in “Twilight” because he got injured on the very first day.

He also revealed that he would never want to be a vampire in real life. However, the running fast ability is appealing to him.

He also admitted that he doesn’t like putting on that pale white make-up everyday. He talked about how his family feels about his career. He was also in a band. He wasn’t a fan of school or homework.

He talked about all the media attention. He said, it’s great to go back to England because no one even bats an eye at him over there. He feels normal again when he’s there. He concluded, by talking a little bit about the Volturi vampire clan and their history.

““Twilight Saga: Eclipse” is due for release on June 30,2010.

Kellan looked very handsome in his blue jacket which matched his blue eyes.

New Moon were nominated for several awards and Lautner and Lutz would not let the team down.

We do wonder what happened to the rest of the cast members ?

Are they bored of getting awards now?

Somehow we doubt it, so it must of been something pretty important that kept them away.

Pattinson has been nominated for “Favourite Movie Actor” along with Brad Pitt, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp and Ryan Reynolds.

He is also nominated along with the New Moon team including Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner for Favourite On-Screen Team category.

Twilight is also a nominee under the “Favourite Movie” category

The Twilight Saga gets a nomination for Favourite Franchisee as well.

Pattinson has said that he can not attend due to other work commitments which will make him miss the first big event in Hollywood this year.

The show will be aired on CBS on 6th January and is to be hosted by Queen Latifah.

On the outside Pattinson seems to be the same charming cheerful person we all know , but its hard not to notice that he looks weary now.

Pattinson himself confessed to being surprised at how fast the Twilight series has been made.

“It’s ridiculous to think that, in a year, we’ve filmed two sequels and the next one’s already coming out next week or so,”

Well maybe he should take a month of and spend it in bed resting.

Eclipse is rumoured to be due for release in cinemas sometime in June 2010.

It got so bad that Frankie Sandford has been banned from seeing New Moon in the cinema by her boyfriend.

Frankie has said “I don’t care about those rumours that he smells.”

While Rochelle has said that “I like a rough-and-ready guy. A bit of stubble, yes, but hygiene is good.”

The actor who plays Sam Uley had to check himself into rehab before doing the film.

The rehab was in Washington. The centre was the Northwest Indian treatment.

The rehab centre a facility for Native Americans.

Ray Martins claims that he himself was a patient at the rehab centre at the same time and alleges that the actor feared that he would lose the part if he did not clean up quickly

Martin said to the National Enquirer,

“Chaske confided to me that he was up for a role in a ‘really big movie’ and didn’t want to screw it up.”

“He said, ‘If anyone finds out I’m here, it would be the worst thing in the world. It could ruin my career!’”

The actor spent five weeks in the centre before leaving sober and staying that way ever since.

Martin says he is happy that the actor got the role saying

“I don’t think Chaske could have done the film if he hadn’t gone through rehab first. He got a new lease on life, and then New Moon.”

It is the longest of all the books and was proving to be a difficult one to decide whether to make it or not.

But with the success of the first movie and the hype around the recently released second film New Moon which is currently doing very well in the cinemas the talk now is that they will go ahead and make the film, but will split it Harry Potter style into two films.

First Summit have had to make sure that all the main cast agreed to come back to make the films, and lets face it after all the publicity, growing fan base and cash that they have made from the first two films alone they were hardly going to say no.

And you can almost guarentee that they will get a pay rise for the next two films as well an added bonus that means that when all the frazzled celebs have a hard day fighting off obsesed fans that they can sit back and count their cash.

So it comes as no surprise that the main leads , those of Robert Pattinson who plays Edward Cullen, Kristen Stewart who plays Bella Swan and Taylor Lautner who plays Jacob Black have all reportedly said that they are very much on board to do the films.

“They are so on board, still,”
“But the money has to be right. If it is, it’ll happen—especially now that Rob and Kristen are learning better how to handle the press.”

In September Summit asked Melissa Rosenberg to write the script for Breaking Dawn, which of course she agreed to.

“Nothing official yet, but knowing Summit the announcement will be soon with the giant success of New Moon. Why would they not stretch it out and make as much money as possible from this franchise?”

Because of her boyfriend’s jealousy Sandford said that she wasn’t allowed to go and see the Twilight Saga New Moon in the cinema even though she really wanted to.

Sandford said

“Robert Pattinson… I really wanted to go to his new film premiere, but my boyfriend Dougie wouldn’t let me. He said, ‘I’m not taking you, you’ll run away with him.’”

Sandford also admitted that Poynter had a hangover on their first date.

“I met him briefly at a show at G-A-Y, but we’d fancied each other from afar for about five years. When we met, he shook my hand and was really awkward.

“On our first date, the first thing he said was, ‘I’m really hung over and sometimes when I’m hung over I go into London and pass out, so I’m just warning you!’

“But we had a really good time – and we ended up being asked to leave the restaurant because they wanted to close. Everyone had packed up around us!”

Pattinson and Spencer had a rowing race on the set of New Moon in the weight room that was needed to keep all the actors in shape for the film, were many of them go topless

Spencer explained to The Star

“We were all really competitive and supportive of one another. One time, I had the highest score on this rowing machine and the next day I came in and Rob had beaten me.

“He worked out at night, and the wolves came in during the day. I’d beat him and then he’d beat me. On the last day of shooting, I came in and he’d beaten me by a second.”

In the interview the 15 year old talks about her life as a normal student at school and also about her part in the New Moon film.

Fanning was asked where she was during the interview which was done via telephone Fanning replied

When asked what it was like to go back to school after the movie was released Fanning said

“That’s my life. That’s what’s normal to me. I don’t really know anything different. I’m really lucky that I get to go to school and have that normal life, whatever that is, and then also get to do what I love to do and be a part of really great projects.”

“I mean, I think that there are so many fans of the book and the movie, and it’s just sort of exciting that so many people went to see it on the first weekend. I know so many people were camping out for days to wait for it. And I think that it’s great that everyone got to see it right when it came out.”

When asked about her feelings on it being the biggest opening day ever Fanning said

When asked if she was a fan of the series before she was cast Fanning said

“Of course I was a fan. I had read the books and everything.”

When asked if she enjoyed playing her character, Volturi member Jane because she was evil Fanning said

“Yeah. It’s one of the first times that I’ve done that. And this is a character that really takes pleasure in causing people pain. And that’s kind of a fascinating character to get to play. So that was definitely one of the reasons that I wanted to do it.”

When asked if people are reacting to her differently now that they’ve seen you play a villain Fanning said

“They’re hand-painted contacts. I’ve never worn anything in my eyes before, so it was definitely a feeling I’d never experienced. But they have someone to put them in and take them out. You can kind of feel them. But you get used to it after a while.”
