Simon Cowell is back
Hang on to your seat Gary Barlow , Simon Cowell is back.
Cowell has returned from America to judge contestants on the upcoming series of Britain’s Got Talent.
The show will be on ITV1 in the spring for its sixth series.
Cowell has confessed that he greatly missed the British public “I miss Britain, I miss the British public and I miss judging them. I want to find the next generation of talent in 2012.”
Cowell has also given a small hint as to what he is looking for this time saying “I love originality, I love great singers, I love great comedians. I love things I’ve never seen before. I’d love to find a great magician, I’d like to find the next ‘N Sync or the next Backstreet Boys or Justin Bieber.”
But whats the one act that Cowell is desperate to find, well now we know “I’ve always dreamt of finding a dog who can play guitar. And we’ve failed. So I want talented dogs. I really want one who can dance or play an instrument.”
Joining Simon on the panel will be actor and comedian David Walliams, singer, songwriter and dancer Alesha Dixon, and returning Judge Amanda Holden.
As well as the new judges there is now even more incentive as the prize money has been increased, half of which Cowell is putting in himself. This years prize is £500,000 – and £250,000 of that is Simon Cowell’s own money, so if you want some of Cowell’s cash and you think you have what it takes then come along to the auditions, someone’s got to win right. Why not you.
