According to a report by The Sun, Robert Pattinson has landed the role of Kurt Cobain in a film about the grunge rockers life.

Pattinson is said to have been requested by Cobain’s widow Courtney Love, who herself is said to have a large role in the film.

A source has been quoted as saying “Robert has been calling and emailing her non-stop,” the source is quoted in the article. “But he is her number one choice to play Kurt.”

The article states that Love’s choice to play herself is Scarlett Johansson. “She is adamant Scarlett will play her,” the source tells the newspaper

Love is also reportedly in contact with director David Fincher (‘Fight Club’) to direct the film which has the working title ‘All Apologies.’
