Twilight star Robert Pattinson is hoping to follow Daniel Radcliffe into theatre – insisting he “envies” the actor’s stints on stage.

The pair appeared together in 2005′s Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire, before Pattinson shot to fame as the star of the Twilight franchise.

Radcliffe has supplemented his work in the wizard movies with a role in West End play Equus, which transferred to Broadway in 2008, and Pattinson admits he dreams of achieving similar goals in the theatre.

Talking to CBS Pattinson has said, “I love the mix of stuff he has done in his career, always pushing the boundaries and stuff like that. I also envy his stints on stage – he is a great actor.”
