Singer Robbie Williams has claimed that going into rehab saved his life.

In an interview with GQ magazine Williams explains that he had an addition to prescription medication including sleeping pills and pain killers.

Williams said “There was a lot of awful stuff going on,”

“I found myself in the same f***ing place that I’ve found myself in periodically since I was 17.”

Williams claims that if he hadn’t of gone into rehab he would of died.

“I would have died… A heart attack, I think… The left arm was going numb, chest was contracting. That’s the sign, isn’t it, that you’re on your way out?”

Williams was last admitted to a clinic in 2007 in Arizona.

When asked if he was planning on rejoining Take That again Williams said

“It will happen. But not in the next 18 months, two years. There’s contracts to fulfil. And then I can do what I want.”

Williams felt bitter and angry after he quit the band years ago , admitting

“because regardless of what I felt at the end… I loved them and I didn’t think I was loved back”.

I can think of another star who was addicted to pain killers and sleeping pills and it didn’t turn out to well for Michael Jackson now did it?
