Peter Andre has spoken about his breakdown on Sky News and admitted he lost his composure after presenter Kay Burley “hit a raw nerve” when talking about his children.

Kay reduced Pete to tears with brutal questioning about his kids.

Pete had expected to be quizzed about his new album – instead Burley grilled him on how he would feel if Katie Price’s new husband, cage fighter Alex Reid, wanted to adopt his children.

Pete told new! magazine: “I want to say thank you to everyone who has sent me messages of support after my appearance on Sky News.

“As anyone who saw it will know, I broke down after Kay Burley started asking me some difficult questions about my kids.

“Many people jumped to the wrong conclusion and thought I was crying because Kate has married Alex Reid, but nothing could be further from the truth.
