One of the biggest names on the red carpet for many years was designer Alexander McQueen with his sense of cutting edge fearless fashion many a star was seen wearing his designs.

Celebrities including Nicole Kidman, Penélope Cruz, Sarah Jessica Parker and Rihanna, have been seen wearing his designs and we must say looking great in his design to award ceremonies.

Following the designers suicide on the 11th February 2010 it will be sad not to see any new designs missing from the Oscars tonight.

But we are sure that his designs will live on and we may still see a few stars in the future still wearing McQueen’s work.
