Actress and good time girl Nicole Richie is currently recovering from a car crash she had with a photographer yesterday.

Richie was driving her Land Rover when she was hit by the photographer who was in a Jeep Cherokee.

Following the incident Richie told police that she was in some discomfort and was taken to hospital as a result of this.

Beverly Hills Police Lieutenant Tony Lee spoke of the incident saying

“Ms. Richie was driving with a passenger around 2pm when she was struck by two photographers driving in one vehicle behind her.

“She complained of pain. Her car sustained moderate damage. No paramedics were called to the scene.”

As of yet there has been no word as to who the person was but we do know that her partner Joel Madden and their two children were not in the vehicle at the time.
