This is it is a film showing the last recordings of Michael Jackson rehearsing for his upcoming shows This is it.

In the first five days of being shown it has already raked in 101 million dollars in cinemas.

Figures have shown that it has so far made 32.5 million dollars in the states alone.

It is now number one on the box office charts.

The documentary was only intended to be in cinemas for 16 days but after seeing its success the US bosses have decided to extend this.

Head of distribution at Sony Rory Bruer has said the following about the globel figures.

“He’s just loved everywhere on the planet.

“It doesn’t matter if it is Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, South America. Every continent in the world loved him and his music.”
