He may be married to Sarah Jessica Parker but Brodrick has revealed that he has never appeared onscreen with his wife and he is not about to start now even though Sex and the City is such a huge hit.

Broderick admits that he has turned down every chance to star in the show.

Talking to Us Weekly magazine Broderick says “We did a play together, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, but it’s not really something we look for.

“I had a couple of chances when the TV show (Sex and the City) was on. But I was never free for the right character.”
