Marie Osmond says farewell to son
THE OSMONDS said an emotional goodbye to MARIE’S son MICHAEL BRYAN in Utah today.
The 18-year-old – who died late last month – was remembered in a large funeral service at the Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel near Provo by his famous singing family.
After the ceremony, Marie fought back tears as she addressed the 450 mourners.
She said: “I’d just like to say thank you. I have amazing support from great men, my family, my brothers.
“God was very wise when he put me into a family with honourable men because they have served as examples for my children.”
Marie said she wanted to use the occasion to “honour my children,” adding, “I’m so proud of each and every one of you.
“I’m proud of my son, and I honour his birthmother who’s here today, who gave me the greatest gift. Thank you for those beautiful 18 years.”
