Louis Walsh has opened up about his fellow X Factor judge and friend Simon Cowell saying how happy he is about Cowells engagement to make up artist Mezghan Hussainy.

Walsh has said “I’ve know her for ages, they’ve been friends for ages, she’s a gorgeous girl. I like all his girlfriends,”

Walsh said about the relationship “I know the real person and he’s really a good man, whoever gets him is going to be lucky.”

“He’s 50 now, maybe he wants to settle down.”

Walsh was also asked about being a judge on the US version of X Factor were Walsh confessed to not being approached but claiming that even if he was approached he wouldn’t have the time.

“I’ve got enough on, listen I haven’t been asked, but I’m a manager first and foremost and I love doing that.”

“I think The X Factor would be the biggest show on television anywhere – I think if Simon’s involved it will be. He wants to be the best, he wants to be the biggest, and he will be.”

So between Jedward and Westlife it seems that Walsh is now a busy man.
