Katie Price has spoken out about her surprise marriage, insisting it’s the real deal and saying of new hubby Alex Reid: “He’s the one.”

Katie, who got hitched to Alex in a quickie Vegas ceremony last month, also says he lets her be herself – unlike ex Peter Andre.

We caught up with Katie, aka Jordan, in LA at West Hollywood’s trendy Chateau Marmont, ahead of this weekend’s Oscars parties.

The model mum-of-three also revealed she and Alex are already trying for children of their own.

She even took a pregnancy test earlier this week, hoping she had already been “Reidinated”.

Sipping vodka and Diet Coke, Katie, 31, hit out at claims she only married cagefighter Alex because he won Celebrity Big Brother, saying he popped the question just before going into the CBB house.

Katie said: “Everything happens for a reason and I believe I was meant to be with Alex.

“We get on fantastically, we have such a laugh together. And he’s the fittest man I have ever, ever seen. He really is gorgeous. Plus it’s fun, there’s no hidden agenda.
