Singer Jay Sean has found out that he is number one in America at the moment with his single “Down” and he couldn’t be more pleased.

Speaking to the Mirror Sean said

“I was at home in Hounslow when the news came in that I had gone to No1. It was amazing.
“We popped a few bottles that night to celebrate. Then I had to get on a plane back to New York and I popped a few more then.

“I can’t walk around Hounslow without everyone congratulating me on doing so well. Word spreads fast man.”

And it seems that the man is now in demand with Justin Timberlake begging him to perform at a charity event in Vegas this week.

We have also heard that he is going to be helping friend ex sugababe Keisha Buchanan start her solo career by releasing their single called “Far Away” following his success.

Sound like he is going to be busy.
