Two people who have spoken with Whitney Houston’s family said the singer’s body will be taken home to New Jersey late Monday for a funeral to be held at week’s end.

The two spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to speak for the family and funeral arrangements weren’t complete. They said Houston’s family has raised the possibility of holding a wake Thursday and funeral Friday at Newark’s Prudential Center, which can seat about 18,000.

The pair had to handle a very stereotypical aussie script, but thankfully it seemed to pay off and the pair managed to get a laugh from the audience. The Award went to The Artist.

The story takes place in Hollywood between 1927 and 1932 and focuses on a declining film star and a rising actress, as silent cinema falls out of fashion and is replaced by the talkies. Most of the film itself is silent; it was produced in black-and-white, and has received wide praise from critics and many accolades.

The last Award was The Fellowship, the Award went to Martin Scorsese.

Scorsese was shown video messages from Christhor Lee and Robert De Niro.
Scorseses is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, actor, and film historian. In 1990 he founded The Film Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to film preservation, and in 2007 he founded the World Cinema Foundation. He is a recipient of the AFI Life Achievement Award for his contributions to the cinema, and has won Oscars, Emmys, Golden Globes, BAFTAs, and DGA Awards

The Award went to Michel Hazanavicius for The Artist. Brad Pitt did a fine job of pronouncing Michel’s name and was congratulated on this by Michel himself. This was the films second Award for the evening with we are sure more to follow.

Colin Firth presented the Award for Leading Actress, the BAFTA went to Meryl Streep for her role in The Iron Lady.

This was not a surprise and seemed approved of in the room giving Streep a standing ovation.

The BAFTA for Best Leading Actor was presented by Penelope Cruz. The Award went to Jean Dujardin for his role in The Artist. This was the films third Award of the night. Dujardin really seemed shocked to be receiving the Award but had luckily prepared a speech so he wasn’t lost for words but did seem to struggle at parts to get through his speech.

The film has been a popular choice tonight but has also been said to be slightly hard to follow with Host Stephen Fry commenting that Gary Oldman called him whilst filming to ask what the film was about, this was of course a joke but goes to show that if you didn’t really get the film first time round, then you were not alone.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is a 2011 Anglo-French espionage film directed by Tomas Alfredson, from a screenplay written by Bridget O’Connor and Peter Straughan based on the 1974 novel Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy by John le Carré. The film stars Gary Oldman as George Smiley, and co-stars Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, John Hurt, Toby Jones, Mark Strong, Benedict Cumberbatch and Ciarán Hinds. Set in London in the early 1970s, the story follows the hunt for a Soviet double agent at the top of the British secret service.

The Award went to John Hurt. John Hurt was an extremely popular choice and received a very long standing ovation which only ended after Hurt asked presenter Thornton what he should do, the reply was just talk, this quietened the audience. Hurt seemed moved by the reception he received.

Orange Wednesdays Rising Star Award, the winner of this Award was chosen by phone votes from the British public . The Award went to Adam Deacon.

Adam Deacon (born 4 March 1983) is an English actor and rapper from Hackney, North-East London who rose to prominence after starring in the film Kidulthood (2006) as well as the sequel Adulthood (2008).[1] Deacon is also the writer, director and lead actor in the British comedy Anuvahood.

Award for Best Documentary was presented by Paul Bettany the award went to Senna. Senna is a 2010 documentary film that depicts the life and death of Brazilian motor-racing champion, Ayrton Senna. It is Asif Kapadia’s fourth feature film as director, and is produced by ESPN/Working Title and distributed by Universal Pictures/Walt Disney Pictures.

In the film, both through home videos provided by the Senna family and from interviews with people that had known him, Senna is presented as sublime, spiritual, on occasion ruthless, as well as private, humble and fiercely patriotic, donating millions to his native Brazil and contemplating a life outside motor racing.

The Award for Outstanding British Film was presented by two Bond girls who presented the BAFTA unsurprisingly to Tinker, Tailor, Solider, Spy. This seemed a popular choice in the room.

The next Award is for Best Supporting Actress which was presented by Daniel Radcliffe. The Award went to Octavia Spencer for her role in The Help.

The Help is a 2009 novel by American author Kathryn Stockett. The story is about African American maids working in white households in Jackson, Mississippi during the early 1960s.

When her name was called out Octavia Spencer really did seem surprised.Again another hit in the room.

The Award went to Paddy Considine and Diarmid Scrimshaw for Tyrannosaur.This seemed to be a popular win, as Actress Olivia Colman was overlooked in the Best Actress category.

Award for Production Design goes to Hugo.
Hugo is a 2011 3D adventure drama film based on Brian Selznick’s novel The Invention of Hugo Cabret about a boy who lives alone in a Paris railway station and the enigmatic owner of a toy shop there. It is directed by Martin Scorsese and written by John Logan.

It goes to show that even Hollywood’s cream get embarrassed at the thought of blowing kisses, but you would never of guessed it would have been Hollywood heart throb Brad Pitt that would have tried to get out of the inevitable kiss.

The first Award of the night is for Special Visual Effect, the Award was presented by Cuba Gooding Jr, who marked the death of singer Whitney Houston by saying ” Whitney, I will Always love you”.

The Award went to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part two which really was no surprise.

The Artist is nominated in 12 categories, The Artist is a French silent film directed by Michel Hazanavicius, starring Jean Dujardin and Bérénice Bejo.

George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Gary Oldman are nominated for the Leading Actor award and Meryl Streep’s portrayal of Margaret Thatcher could see the actress win her first Bafta since 1981.

Rosemary Conley

Conley is a 65 year old diet and fitness guru. About Dancing On Ice she has said ‘Dancing On Ice has made me feel I’m 25 again!’

Conley will be skating with Mark Hanratt.

Jennifer Ellison

Ellison is a 28 year old actress who was Formerly on Brookside and is a fitness DVD star.
About Dancing On Ice Ellison has said ‘I couldn’t cook when I went into Hell’s Kitchen and I did pretty well at that. I just need to learn to skate and I’ll be OK’

Actor Feldman now 40 was an 80s heartthrob. About Dancing On Ice he has said ‘I’m scared of hurting myself. When it comes to paper cuts I’ll cry all day! I’ve a low pain threshold.’

Foucan is a 37 year old actor and also founder of freerunning.

He has a 2,500 square foot restaurantTit si due to open in spring this year. According to reports its location is supposed to be the “high-profile location” in the main part of the airport.

Reports have suggested that Angelina purchased a waterfall on a piece of property exclusively for Brads 48th birthday and christmas present.

As source told the Daily Mail this;

‘Angelina wanted to get him something incredibly special and, because she knows how much he loves architecture, she thought this would be perfect,’ one insider told the Daily Mail.

‘This is the present to top all presents.’

‘Brad has dreamed of a home with the sound of a waterfall cascading under the house,’

The source has said that Brad has been inspired by the American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.

‘He wants to pull all aspects of nature, light, glass and varying levels into the concept.’

Julie Plec the producer of phenomena ‘The Vampire Diaries’ has promised Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) the return of one of her family members back to Mystic Falls. Plec feels that the character she is wanting to bring into the show will create a lot of tension.

Last year it was announced that Abby Bennett, the mother of Bonnie Bennett would be played but actress Persia White.

Cowell has returned from America to judge contestants on the upcoming series of Britain’s Got Talent.

The show will be on ITV1 in the spring for its sixth series.

Lawsuit between Leighton Meester and her adorable mother has finally come to an end.

The feud started when Leighton decided to sue Constance Meester, her mother, for allegedly, using her brothers medical money on cosmestic products including hair extensions and botox, of course, these were for herself.
