Cheryl Cole fights to keep mansion
Cheryl Cole is curently away on a romantic holiday with Derek Hough but back in UK lawyers are still trying to reach an agreement between Cheryl and ex Ashley over who will get the housethat the couple shared together in Surrey.
Cheryl, 26, is desperate to keep Hurtmore house after her split with the Ashley.
‘She’s not looking for a new property as she is still trying to negotiate the house in the settlement – she loves it,’ a friend says
It’s the only thing that is holding up their divorce going through.’
Insiders say Cole, rarely stays at the house near Godalming.
‘Cheryl wants to live there but she feels she’s being pushed out by Ashley who is always there with his friends,’ admits her friend.
‘He also organises five-aside football matches and has people around all the time which makes it very uncomfortable for Cheryl.’
Sources say the couple’s affluent neighbours are also up in arms over the constant late-night visitors when Ashley, 29, is at home.
One said: ‘The lights on the house are very bright, they can be seen for miles so we are hoping Cheryl gets to stay there. There are always fast cars coming and going and lots of noise.’
A spokesman for Cheryl declined to comment.
