Brad Pitts builds house for his pets

Brad_Pitt_81st_Academy_AwardsWhile most celebrities are seen spending thousands on buying a dream house for themselves it seems that no expense has been spared when it comes the pets homes either.

Brad Pitt has spent a reported $90,000 building a house for his gerbils. The house includes living space, a maze, see-saws and platforms.

A source told The Sun newspaper

“It’s incredibly complex and cost quite a lot, But Brad’s more than happy with any activity that can combine his two passions – his kids and architecture.”

Pitt has always been a fan of anything architectural. In 2007 Pitt took a very informal apprenticeship with Canadian architect Frank Gehry.

Gehry is famous for designing the Walt Disney concert hall in downtown LA.

This experience lead Pitt to design an ocean side town in Britain which has not yet been built.

The source also claims that Pitt reads architectural books just for fun.

“Brad pores over architectural journals like most people pore over newspapers, He had so much fun putting the run together with his kids Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh and Pax.

I will be waiting to see if the town ever gets built.
