Guy Ritchie is reportedly looking at Brad Pitt to play the role of Professor Moriaty in the sequel to the box office hit Sherlock Holmes.

It has been reported that Robert Downing Jr and Jude Law have already signed on to do the sequel.

Richie worked with Pitt on the film Snatch in 2000 and did think of Pitt for a cameo role in the latest film , but it now seems that Pitt will play Holmes arch enemy in the sequel a tipster has told Popeater.com

“The director, Guy Ritchie, loves Brad. He has worked with him before and thinks he is one of the most underrated actors working today. Guy knows that everyone thinks of as a Pitt as a pretty boy and can’t wait to turn him into the world’s greatest supervillain. It will definitely make the sequel a must-see.”
