American Idol star Adam Lambert has confessed to getting carried away during his performance at the American Music Awards where he kissed his male fellow band mate on stage.

Lambert has not apologised for the incident telling CBS’ The Early Show that

“I admit I did get carried away, but I don’t see anything wrong with it.”

Recent numbers show that 1,500 people have complained about the kiss and the simulated sexual act on stage.

Lambert has also said that he doubted that his act would cause controversy if he himself was not openly gay.
